We are recognized for our high quality Orton-Gillingham  staff development programs  for general classroom educators, paraprofessionals, as well as tutors.  In addition we are known for our teacher training programs for reading and special education teachers and curriculum development.  Recently we began offering an Orton-Gillingham training program for parent groups. This has become very popular in this country. 

The Institute for Multi-Sensory Education has developed an Orton-Gillingham phonics and  multi-sensory  program called "Sensational Strategies for Teaching Beginning Readers." Concerned parents are using our product to work with   their children who are struggling with reading.

Title I funds can be used for teacher development programs learning Orton-Gillingham methodology.  IMSE offers phonics based and multi-sensory Orton-Gillingham  staff inservice  workshops for general education, as well as tutors, and paraprofessionals.  The Institute's training programs are aimed at early intervention.  We simply want to decrease the number of students who are struggling with reading, spelling, and writing.  We want them students at grade level when they enter the third grade.  The Institute for Multi-Sensory Educations teacher development trainings are custom designed for the needs of the individual teacher. Our Orton-Gillingham methodology is best suited for remediation of at risk students who have fallen behind or who have learning disabilities, dyslexia,or other problems preventing them from learning to read.  The Institute for Multi-Sensory Education's Orton-Gillingham methods can be easily added to your current reading curriculum.
